Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. Here's everything you need to know about deleting your HeyBabyOnline account and what happens to your data.

Delete from within the app

The quickest way to delete your account is directly from the HeyBabyOnline app. Your account and data will be removed immediately.

Open the HeyBabyOnline app on your device
Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner of any screen
Scroll down to Account actions
Tap Delete account
Confirm your decision when prompted — this cannot be undone

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have access to the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us. We will process your request within 30 days.

Send your request to:

hey@heybabyonline.com

Please use the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account.

What happens to your data

We believe in being transparent about exactly what is deleted and what is retained when you close your account.

Your name and email address
Your account login credentials
Your baby's profile and personal details
All sleep, feed and nappy logs
Your location and onboarding data
Subscription and payment records
Messages and conversations with professionals
Data sharing connections with professionals
Push notification tokens

Anonymised and retained

Some content is anonymised rather than deleted so the platform remains useful for other parents. Your identity is fully removed from this data.

Forum questions — shown as posted by "Anonymous parent"
Forum answers and upvotes — identity removed
Professional reviews — shown as left by "A HeyBaby parent"
Profile view counts — viewer identity removed

Retention period: All personally identifiable data is deleted immediately upon account deletion. Anonymised content has no additional retention period — it remains on the platform indefinitely in anonymised form only.
